Four gates stand between a retailer listing and this website.

1. Collection

Offers arrive through approved paths only: a native retailer adapter where licensed, canonical CSV feeds the operator is authorized to use, or manual editorial entry. Scraping retail sites against their terms is not one of them.

2. Evidence checks

Deterministic rules validate prices (stored as exact integer cents), condition, shipping, stock and any comparison reference. A comparison counts only when product, condition and currency match and shipping is known on both sides. Freshness windows hide stale observations automatically.

3. Editorial review

An editor sees the evidence, optional bounded AI assistance, and the post previews. The editor approves or rejects every offer for each channel. AI confidence is never approval, and nothing publishes itself.

4. Publishing with safeguards

Approved offers enter an outbox. If the evidence changes afterwards, pending sends are blocked and approvals reset. Delivery problems are quarantined for human inspection instead of blind retries.

The PriceRivet Score

The score summarizes stored evidence: verified discount strength, seller verification, known shipping and stock. It is a heuristic for browsing — not a prediction, a guarantee, or a claim about the lowest price anywhere.
